Leading Authorities in Spine Care Discuss New Procedures and Technology at NASS' 22nd Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas

Burr Ridge, Ill. – August 7, 2007 – The North American Spine Society’s (NASS) Annual Meeting was named one of the Top 100 Medical Meetings in the country by the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA). Last year’s Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA, brought out 3,200 attendees! NASS’ multidisciplinary approach to spine care gives meeting attendees access to progressive research findings and procedures from top spine specialists.


The NASS 22nd Annual Meeting will be held in Austin, Texas, at the Austin Convention Center, from October 23-27, 2007. The meeting will include 81 podium presentations, 92 Special Interest Paper Presentations and 176 electronic posters. Symposia, paper presentations and e-posters will cover hot topics in the spine care industry.

Presidential Guest Speaker, Gail Morrison, MD, will address The Future of Medical Training Using Cutting-Edge Technology. Dr. Gail Morrison is Vice Dean of Education and Director of the Office of the Academic Programs, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

The North American Spine Society (NASS) grew out of the need for a scientific spine society that would include all members of the spine community regardless of specialty or locale.
