NASS Asks Members to Aid in Hurricane Relief

HSS to Coordinate Medical Relief Effort for Hurricane Katrina Victims

LaGrange, IL – September 2005 - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is now managing a national medical relief effort for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Physicians, nurses and other state-licensed health care professionals who can commit to short-term, long-term or rotating coverage are urgently needed. If you are able to offer your medical services, please call (800) 272-2707 or volunteer at: https://volunteer.ccrf.hhs.gov/.

Since its start in 1985, NASS has grown to nearly 4,000 members in 22 spine-related specialties.
