General Registration Fees
Registration fees for the NASS 23rd Annual Meeting are designated in US dollars.
Only US currency will be accepted on-site. Registration fees include:
- All education sessions from Wednesday, October 15 through Saturday,
October 18, 2008.
- Welcome reception, Tuesday evening, October 14.
- Continental breakfasts (Wednesday through Saturday) and box lunches (Wednesday through Friday).

Guests (over 13 years of age) – $250 Limited of one guest /Nonmember Nonphysicians and Commercial Business Interests are not permitted to purchase a guest registration. Includes participation at all lunches and the Welcome Reception. MAY NOT be used as registration for associates who will be attending scientific sessions. Guest refers to a spouse or significant other, not a business associate, staff colleague or student.
Member Discount – If you become a member by September 15, please call registration at (866) 960-6277 or e-mail registration@spine.org to be credited the difference between the nonmember and member rate.
*If you are a member and your registration fee was the nonmember rate, please contact Member Services at memberservices@spine.org or 866-960-NASS (6277).
**Affiliate Health includes: DC, PA, NP, RN, PT, Medical Assistants, Practice Managers, Technicians, and Office Staff.
***Must provide a letter from your training program director or you will be charged the nonmember physician rate. A valid Student ID will be required for on-site badge pickup.
****Commercial Business Interest – Financial Researcher, Venture Capitalist, Investment Banker, Insurance Professional, Attorney, etc. This category is for non-clinical professional wishing to attend the meeting.

Premeeting Courses and Fees
Precourses will be on Tuesday, October 14 except for the 2-day Coding course which starts on Monday, October 13.
* Coding Course Member Staff: If you are attending the Coding Course and you are staff of a member of NASS, you will be charged the nonmember rate. After your registration is completed, please e-mail registration@spine.org with the member name and you will be credited the difference between member and nonmember.

Registration Policies
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of registration must be submitted in writing via mail or e-mail and must be postmarked or dated on or before September 22 to receive a refund less cancellation processing fee. Cancellation Processing fees: general registration $100 USD, premeeting technique workshops $75 USD (each), premeeting workshops $25 USD (each) and guests $50 USD. There will be no refunds after September 22, 2008 regardless of cause.

- Change Policy: If you need to add or change anything to your registration, please
e-mail registration@spine.org. This function cannot be processed on-line.
- Transfer Policy: Registration fees are not transferable.
- Commercial Business Interests and Nonmember Nonphysicians are not permitted to purchase Guest passes. If a Guest is registered under these categories, your Guest will be cancelled and your credit card will be credited $250.00.
- Coding Course Member Staff: If you are attending the Coding Course and you are staff of a NASS member, you will be charged the nonmember rate. After your registration is completed, please e-mail registration@spine.org with the member name and you will be credited the difference between member and nonmember.
- Guest Registration: Limited one adult guest - Includes participation at all lunches and the Welcome Reception. MAY NOT be used as registration for associates who will be attending scientific sessions. Guest refers to a spouse or significant other, not a business associate, staff colleague or student. Commercial Business Interests and Nonmember Nonphysicians are not permitted to purchase a guest registration. If a Guest is registered under these categories, your Guest will be cancelled and credit card will be credited $250.00.
- Premeeting Course Only Registration: If you are registered for a “Premeeting course Only”, Guest registrations are not allowed. If a Guest is registered under this category, your Guest will be cancelled and credit card will be credited $250.00.
- Residents/Fellows: In order to receive the nonmember resident rate, please fax your letter from your program director to (630) 230-3709. If you are not in our database, please create a new contact by clicking on this link. After you created a new contact, please e-mail registration@spine.org and inform the registration manager that you faxed your letter from your program director. When letter is received, you will receive an e-mail to register online. A valid Student ID will be required for on-site badge pickup.
- Technique workshops are for “Physicians Only”. If you register for a technique course and you are not a physician, your workshop registration will be cancelled and your credit card will be credited that payment amount.
- Disclaimer: NASS reserves the right to allocate up to $300 of all annual meeting registrations to assist in funding the further development of the Spine Masters Institute, in order to advance spine education.

Press Registration
Credentialed members of the media may register to attend the conference and are required to provide NASS staff with a copy of their press credentials and letters of assignment. Qualified media outlets must be represented by editorial staff, not advertising or marketing staff. Publishers will not be considered part of the editorial staff. Press interested in attending, should fill out the registration form and fax it to (630) 230-3750. For the line labeled Specialty please fill in the word “Press” and your job title, e.g.,

Registration Instructions
BY INTERNET ONLY - Register quickly and easily online. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a convenient way to register, secure courses, and reserve a hotel room. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Important Information before Registering for NASS 23rd Annual Meeting
Registration is only available online and a NASS ID number is required. Please read the registration policies and instructions listed below before registering and a link to register online will be listed at the end.
Where do I find my NASS ID number?
- If you have attended a NASS Annual Meeting, bought a product, or attended a NASS CME course, you will have a username and password. Your username is your e-mail address and password is either your NASS member ID number or an assigned ID number. If you have an ID number (password), it will be listed on the mailing panel of the preliminary program.
- You also may have received an Annual Meeting promotional e-mail that contained your username and password.
- If your ID number (password) is not listed on the mailing panel of the preliminary program and you have an established NASS login, send a request including your complete name, title, credentials, company, mailing address, job description, registration category, and phone number to registration@spine.org.
Please note: If you are a NASS member, your membership dues must be paid to receive the member registration rate.
If you are a first-time NASS meeting attendee, you will be registered automatically at the nonmember nonphysician rate of $995.00 (early) or $1,195 (late). If you should be registered under a different category, please e-mail your request including your complete name, title, credentials, company, mailing address, job description, registration category, and phone number to registration@spine.org. If you are a nonmember resident/fellow or coding course member staff, please see additional instructions here.
- If you do not have a username and password, please select “Register Online” below and “Sign Up as a New Contact” located below the username and password login.
How do I register?
- Please read and review all instructions before registering.
- Select “Register Online” below.
- If you have your username (e-mail address) and password (ID#), please enter that information and select “Login”.
- If you do not have a username and password, select “Sign Up as a New Contact” located below username and password.
- Enter your information and select “Create Contact”.
- Select “Ok”.
- If you want to register right away, select “Register OnLine” again. You will also be e-mailed your username and password.
- If you would like to have another person receive a confirmation invoice, please enter his or her e-mail address under “E-mail CC”.
- After you register, select “Submit Payment”; you will automatically be e-mailed a confirmation letter. Your registration will automatically be cancelled if you don’t select “Submit Payment”.
- You will be directed to reserve your hotel room right after registering. If you decide to reserve your room at a later date, your link to register for housing will be on your confirmation letter.
- Please add registration@spine.org and CRMAdmin@spine.org to your safe list, to receive your confirmation letter and future e-mails.
