The Building
Spine Education and Research Center is a cutting-edge training facility for medical professionals. The facility enables medical professionals to increase their proficiency in hands-on-surgical, minimally invasive and injection techniques, and physical rehabilitation.
East and West Wings
The East Wing of the Spine Education and Research Center houses the office of the Executive Director, and includes information technology, finance, marketing and public relations, human resources, membership and development functions of the North American Spine Society. NASS is dedicated to fostering the highest quality, evidence-based spine care by promoting education, research and advocacy. The West Wing of the Spine Education and Research Center houses Meeting Services, Exhibit Services and corporate relations, educational programming, SMI lab management, and engineering. This has changed.
Bio-skills Lab
The bio-skills lab is a truly one-of-a-kind environment. The 3,800 square foot lab has up to 12 fully-equipped work stations, each accommodating 305 participants for optimum learning.

Board Room
Custom designed, beautifully appointed room that seats 20 plus. Features a 61” LCD wall-mounted display and touch-panel that allows users to control audio, video and lighting, as well as view video feeds from auditorium, multi-function room and bio-skills lab.
Conference Rooms – East/West
Seats 8-10. Features 42” LCD. The east and west conference rooms are located off the main lobby and are sometimes used by visitors and clients.
Observation area
Located off the bio-skills lab, this room allows faculty and observers to view surgical procedures as they occur in the lab. The room is also used as a “mini” conference area on occasion.
Auditorium
100 plus seat, tiered, learning room. Features the latest in audiovisual technology.
Used primarily for classes, the auditorium is also available for use by industry and others.
Multifunction Room
Suitable for meetings, presentations, training and food functions.
Rotunda
Vast area that includes lobby area and main corridor that leads to OR of the Future, and Multi-function room. Also includes museum display area.
2 Quiet Rooms
Separate rooms located outside of multi-function room visitors can access to check email, make telephone calls in private and print documents.
