Bridging the Gap for Spine Professionals Around the World
The World Spine Society (WSS) was formed in 2003 by 98 spine specialists from more than 40 countries around the world. Their goal was to fulfill a global need:  to improve the care of people with spinal disorders worldwide through patient care, education and research.

Just a few years later, the WSS is growing and facilitating this mission by:

  • holding regional hands-on spine courses and a regular international World Spine Congress.
  • utilizing technology-based communication to provide continuous contact with colleagues around the globe.
  • supporting global research efforts and assisting in providing supplies and technologies around the world.

NASS is proud to help support the World Spine Society and these very important international efforts to improve spine care.
