Contributing to the Body of Spine Knowledge
In addition to supporting spine research with grants, awards, resources and other tools, NASS disseminates research through a peer-reviewed scientific journal and other publications. These include:
- The Spine Journal
Charles L. Branch, Jr, MD, Editor in Chief
The Spine Journal is the official journal of the North American Spine Society. TSJ publishes original, peer-reviewed articles on research and treatment related to the spine and spine care, including basic science and clinical investigations. The Spine Journal is an international, multidisciplinary journal and is indexed in Index Medicus.
- Proceedings of NASS Annual Meetings
NASS publishes abstracts of papers and posters presented by leading spine researchers at each of its annual meetings.
- Research & Funding Directory
NASS has developed a directory of funding sources and other resources to help NASS members who engage in spine care research. This directory also includes abstracts of NASS funded research from 1989 to the present.
