Landing a Job-- Learn to navigate into independent practice after clinical training with skills to help you find a job, negotiate opportunities for success, and handle any challenges you may face.

Career Building--Come prepared with any questions you may have, as this session provides insight to follow best practices and know which actions to avoid in the fellowship interview match process.

Essential Skills for Starting Practice--Listen to faculty speak on a wide-range of topics including office or surgical coding and documentation, getting involved with organizations, and work/life balance.

Lumbar Spinal Injections Hands-on Course--Residents and fellows are highly encouraged to attend Friday’s half-day intensive course. Faculty involved with the NASS Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine (ISMM) Fellowship Program will discuss lumbar spinal injection techniques and patient selection, as well as provide hands-on cadaveric training for lumbar epidural steroid injections, lumbar medial branch blocks, and sacroiliac joint injections. Faculty include Allen S. Chen, MD, MPH; Zachary McCormick, MD; and Byron J. Schneider, MD. There is an extra fee for this course.

After the Wednesday educational programs, stop by the social hour at the convention center for food and libations before heading off to dinner.

Attend the 17th Annual Resident/Fellow/Program Director Reception on Thursday. Interact and enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres with colleagues in a casual setting.
