In the unfortunate event that NASS must cancel the in person portion of NASS 2020 Annual Meeting in San Diego, your meeting registration will automatically be transferred to the digital event format and if that is not available, you can choose one of the following options:
- NASS will transfer your NASS 2020 registration fee to a future NASS course, meeting or membership dues. Fee must be used no later than NASS 2021 in Boston, MA from September 29 – October 2, 2021.
- NASS will refund the full NASS 2020 registration fee without penalty.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via mail or email and postmarked on or before September 3, 2020 to receive a refund less cancellation processing fee(s) of conference $125; Hands-On Workshop $75; Instructional Course $25; One-Day Registration $50; and/or Guest Reception $10. No refunds after September 3; regardless of cause. Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions. COVID-19 Meeting Cancellation
If you need to cancel due to travel ban from your institution, a letter from your institution listing such ban must be supplied in order to process your request. If you need to cancel due to a travel ban instituted by your local, state, federal or country government, a letter stating such ban must be supplied in order to process your request. Registration fee can be refunded or transferred to a future NASS course or meeting. Fee must be used no later than NASS 2021 in Boston, MA from September 29 – October 2, 2021.
NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat (including to digital form) programs due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. NASS is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares, hotel reservation policies or Visa rejection/refusals. Written, verbal, or fax notice of cancellation will be given within five (5) working days of the actual date of the program whenever possible. NASS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
Registrations are not transferable. Email or call (630) 230-3600 to modify your registration (e.g., add a ticketed course, Watch Anytime Recordings or edit spelling of name). These modifications are not available online.
The workshops are for physicians only. If you register for a hands-on workshop and you are not a physician, your workshop registration will be cancelled and your credit card will be credited the payment amount.
Lead Retrieval System
As always, exhibitors will have devices to manually scan your badges to receive your contact information at your discretion. Exhibitors will also receive a copy of meeting attendee’s name, physical mailing address, and specialty after the meeting has concluded.
Nonmember Resident and Fellow
To receive resident and fellow pricing, please email or fax a letter on letterhead from your program director to (630) 230-3709 with your program status. If you are not in our database, please create a new contact. After you created a contact, please email registration you faxed the letter.
Unauthorized Recording and Distribution Prohibited
Unauthorized recording, reproduction or distribution of content created at or affiliated with NASS’ Annual Meeting prohibited without the prior express written permission of NASS.
