Media Registration & Guidelines

Welcome! Each year NASS brings together leading spine authorities representing a multidisciplinary community of spine specialists at its Annual Meeting. The onsite Press Room will include a media-only work area with complimentary beverages and device charging stations. Credentialed journalists can participate in the continental breakfast and lunch breaks with conference attendees.

Friday, October 20 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Only conference staff, credentialed media and presenter interviewees will be allowed in the press room. Members of the media, advertising staff and exhibitors cannot host meetings in the press room. Please visit spine.org for our latest releases and news.

Members of the media covering NASS 2023 are required to sign and submit a copy of the registration form, and email it to Jeff Karzen.

NASS reserves the right to refuse media credentials to any individual at its discretion.

Only persons registered for this meeting are admitted to the education sessions and meals. Badges must be worn at all times to gain admittance to all official NASS functions. Counterfeiting, copy or sharing badges, or using a Guest Badge when he/she is not eligible to do so is expressly prohibited, and doing so may result in removal from the meeting and/or revocation of NASS membership.

Cancellations must be submitted on or before September 21, 2023 to receive a refund less the cancellation processing fee(s). Fees are $125 General; $50 One-Day; $75 Hands-On Workshop; $50 Ticketed Course; and/or $15 Guest Social Hour. Submit your cancellation via email.

Note: General registrations can be transferred to OnDemand Recordings after cancellation deadline. No substitutions allowed.

NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat (including to digital form) programs due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. NASS is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares, hotel reservation policies or Visa rejection/refusals. Written, verbal, or fax notice of cancellation will be given within five (5) working days of the actual date of the program whenever possible. NASS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.

Registrations are not transferable. Email, Online, or call (630) 230-3600 to modify your registration (e.g., add a ticketed course, guest reception, edit spelling of name). These modifications are not available online.

As always, exhibitors will have devices to manually scan badges to receive your contact information at your discretion.

The ACCME requires the explicit consent of attendees in order to share participant information. Our Corporate Contributors make significant investments in NASS 2023 with an expectation of knowing at least who attended the meeting. By opting in, you are approving sharing your name, specialty and mailing address. Email addresses will not be shared. In the event you wish to share your email address you can let companies scan your badge.

To receive resident and fellow pricing, please email a letter on letterhead from your program director with your program status. If you are not in our database, please create a new contact. After you created a contact, please email registration.

Health Regulations:
In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the NASS 2023 Annual Meeting, attendee agrees to comply with all local health guidelines and procedures that may be implemented related to the NASS 2023 Annual Meeting, including but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher health-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all NASS 2023 Annual Meeting attendees.
