This webinar, in collaboration with the National Spine Health Foundation (NSHF), will examine the ongoing osteoporosis care gap and its impact on patients with spinal disorders, including missed opportunities for bone health optimization and secondary fracture prevention. Faculty will highlight NSHF's national initiatives to advance clinician and patient education, share insights from recent patient and provider surveys, demonstrate available educational resources and case-based learning tools, and discuss multidisciplinary and value-based care strategies aimed at improving osteoporosis identification, treatment, and long-term management. Participants will gain practical approaches to integrating bone health assessment and fracture prevention strategies into spine care to improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden of osteoporotic fractures.
