This hands-on course emphasizes diagnosis and operative treatment of cervical spine disorders, including decompression and stabilization techniques for both anterior and posterior approaches, and the use of cervical arthroplasty and minimally invasive techniques. The course is a blend of didactic lectures, demonstrations, panel discussions and substantial dissection time. The faculty is made up of experienced academic spine surgeons from both orthopaedic and neurosurgical programs around the country, working with you in an interactive learning environment.

In accordance with guidelines recommended by the CME Committee and adopted by the Board of Directors, physicians in the following specialties only may enroll in this course: Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Neurosurgery.

Our Policy

Meeting Cancellation: NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat (including to digital form) programs due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. NASS is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares, hotel reservation policies or Visa rejection/refusals.

Attendee Cancellation: Cancellation must be submitted via email by August 25, 2022 to receive a full refund less cancellation processing fee of $175. Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions.

Health Guidelines: If health guidelines change in Illinois, I will be required to adhere to all health guidelines accordingly. Guidelines may include, but not limited to, facial masks, social distancing, attestation to being fully vaccinated or will have a negative COVID-19 lab results within 72 hours of meeting arrival.

COVID-19 Assumption of Risk and Waiver: Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the NASS 2022 Cervical Spine Surgery Meeting. Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the NASS 2022 Cervical Spine Surgery Meeting, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the NASS 2022 Cervical Spine Surgery Meeting may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact.
