Spine Surgeons face many diverse challenges as they establish and grow their own clinical practice. In this novel program, experienced faculty from both NASSi and AO SNA will discuss and share their knowledge to assist spine surgeons in navigating common career hurdles, as well as provide essential information about adopting the right new technologies, expanding their arsenal of techniques, implementing successful marketing strategies, and overcoming financial obstacles. This comprehensive course provides attendees with valuable insight into the key steps and short-cuts to organizing and building a successful business model and personal brand for their practice, while saving valuable time, energy and eliminating frustrations.

Audience

This course is targeted to the clinical and business needs of orthopedic and neurosurgeons who have completed a spine surgery fellowship and are now establishing and growing their own clinical practice.

Our Policy

Meeting Cancellation: NASSi reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat (including to digital form) programs due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. NASSi is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares, hotel reservation policies or Visa rejection/refusals.

Attendee Cancellation: Cancellation must be submitted via email by May 19, 2023 to receive a full refund less cancellation processing fee of $175. Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions.

Health Guidelines: If health guidelines change in California, I will be required to adhere to all health guidelines accordingly. Guidelines may include, but not limited to, facial masks, social distancing, attestation to being fully vaccinated or will have a negative COVID-19 lab results within 72 hours of meeting arrival.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the NASSi meeting, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the NASSi meeting may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the North American Spine Society, any of its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in at the NASSi meeting.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the NASSi meeting, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented related to the NASSi, including but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all NASSi attendees.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The North American Spine Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
