Recognize the relationship between proper diagnostic (ICD-10) and procedural coding (CPT) and how to link them to avoid denials;

Learn the elements required for complete and accurate documentation for E&M coding, and medical and surgical procedural notes;

Know the accurate use of modifiers, the relationship between modifiers and their impact on reimbursement;

Learn about important legislation that will affect your coding bottom line;

Feel comfortable coding your most complex surgical procedures;

Effectively and accurately code injection and neurologic testing procedures;

Audience

This course is for spine specialists, practice managers, and coders who have a basic understanding of ICD-10, CPT coding and the insurance billing process. Office staff and physicians are encouraged to attend the course together but not required.

Meeting Cancellation: NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat (including to digital form) programs due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. NASS is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares, hotel reservation policies or Visa rejection/refusals.

Attendee Cancellation: Cancellation must be submitted via email by February 24, 2026 to receive a full refund less cancellation processing fee of $100. Registrations are not transferable and no substitutions.
