Overview
The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) defines a joint providership as the providership of a CME activity by one accredited and one nonaccredited organization. The North American Spine Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Applications for joint providerships must be received by NASS at least two months prior to the activity/meeting date.
NASS will NOT approve applications for joint providership from the following types of organizations:
- Medical device/drug companies
- Medical Education Companies (MECs)
Initial Applications
To begin the process, please submit the Joint Providership Application. You must review the Joint Providership CME Policies and Guidelines before submitting your application.
Approved Activities
Complete the Joint Providership Post-Activity Report. Return the form and supporting documentation to NASS no later than 30 days after the activity.
