In-Depth Hands-On Coverage of MIS Complications


This course will cover rarely discussed complications involved with minimally invasive spine surgery through expert lectures and moderated case discussions on both the initial and latter phases of adoption.

There are 6.5 hours of hands-on cadaveric bio-skills sessions that will address peri- and intraoperative pearls to safely and successfully perform minimally invasive procedures including: multilevel percutaneous pedicle screws with rod passage; bilateral decompression through a unilateral approach; multilevel MIS TLIF; and lateral surgery.

A Night on the Town
Take the short ride to downtown Chicago for a night on the town on Friday while you are attending the Complication Avoidance and Management in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery course. Transportation is available to and from the city departing at 6:30 pm after the cocktail reception and returning at 12:30 am. The cost is $40/person round trip. Participants are responsible for being at the designated pick-up point on time for the return trip. Choose the shuttle option during your online registration.
