Tackling the Endoscopic Spine Surgery Learning Curve: Principles, Indications, and Techniques
8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Faculty will examine the growing field of endoscopic spine surgery (ESS) in the treatment of spinal disorders. ESS
techniques treat diverse spinal pathologies, including lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis,
and cervical disc herniation. Participants will hear the most recent technological developments and surgical
techniques in ESS. Moreover, the faculty will discuss the technical challenges and surgical learning curve
associated with endoscopic spine surgery and surgical tips and pearls to help manage the learning curve.
Through this course, surgeons who are interested in adopting or expanding their use of ESS will become
equipped with knowledge and training to apply in clinical practice.
Mastering Endoscopic Spine Surgery from Uniportal to Biportal Endoscopy
12:30–5:30 p.m.
This advanced hands-on cadaver lab course offers spine surgeons an opportunity to explore the
evolutionary transition from uniportal to biportal endoscopic spine surgery. Under the guidance of
experienced endoscopic spine specialists, participants will learn both theoretical foundations and
practical applications of these minimally invasive techniques. The course focuses specifically on
expanding surgical indications across various spinal pathologies, comparing the advantages and
limitations of each approach while providing comprehensive training on anatomical landmarks, surgical
techniques, and safety considerations.

State-of-the-Art Technology & Techniques in MIS and Complex Cervical & Thoracolumbar Spine Surgery
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Faculty will provide didactic and hands-on educational advancement for surgeons, residents, and fellows
interested in learning the latest surgical indications, considerations, and techniques in complex and minimally
invasive spine surgery. Faculty will discuss surgical indication, surgical anatomy, technique pearls, complication
avoidance, and complication management in a small group environment.
BADGES AND ADMITTANCE
Only persons registered for this meeting are admitted to the education sessions and meals. Badges must be worn at all times to gain admittance to all official NASSi functions. Counterfeiting, copy or sharing badges is prohibited, and doing so may result in removal from the meeting and/or revocation of NASSi membership.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be submitted on or before June 30, 2025 to receive a refund less the cancellation processing fee(s). Fees are $150 General/$75 Hands-On, and/or $20 Guest Welcome Reception. Submit your cancellation via
