Update My Information

Public Profile

Your membership (excluding In-training and Emeritus members) includes a listing in the Find a Specialist search on the popular knowyourback.org site. To update your listing:

    Search for your profile (be sure you're not logged in to your account) to see what a patient would see.

    Login to your listing using your NASS credentials.

    3

    Update your SpineConnect profile to add information including a bio, education, conditions treated and more.

    View your privacy settings to edit what information shows to patients (Public), other members (Members Only) or to keep private (Only Me). Here you can also opt-out of the directory by changing your inclusion preference from Yes to No.

    Click on the "Edit Contact Info" link below your profile photo to update contact details including photo, address (only work addresses will populate in the directory), phone, fax, email, website and more.

Category of Membership

Your membership category may change if you have:

    1

    Completed or started a spine-related training program;

    2

    Passed your board exam;

    3

    Moved in or out of the United States;

    4

    Retired following 15 years of membership; or

    5

    Significantly changed the percentage of your professional activities dedicated to spine care.

    To request a change in your membership category, complete a Category Change Request Form.

Retirement, Medical Leave, Disability or Hardship

Members who have semi-retired, are retired but don’t meet the 15-year membership requirement of Emeritus status, or are otherwise unable to work due to medical leave, disability or other hardship may contact the NASS Membership Department to inquire about temporary dues assistance.
