Category of Membership
Your membership category may change if you have:
1 Completed or started a spine-related training program;
2 Passed your board exam;
3 Moved in or out of the United States;
4 Retired following 15 years of membership; or
5 Significantly changed the percentage of your professional activities dedicated to spine care.
To request a change in your membership category, complete a Category Change Request Form.
Retirement, Medical Leave, Disability or Hardship
Members who have semi-retired, are retired but don’t meet the 15-year membership requirement of Emeritus status, or are otherwise unable to work due to medical leave, disability or other hardship may contact the NASS Membership Department to inquire about temporary dues assistance.
