Applications are now open for NASS’ new Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) Committee, chaired by Michael G. Fehlings, MD, PhD, FRCSC, FACS. This committee will provide education and support related to evidence review & analysis, enabling NASS to stay current with the latest developments and approaches in EBM while continuing to promote and advocate for evidence-based spine care.
Who can apply?
All current NASS members with extensive knowledge of EBM who have successfully completed NASS’ EBM Training Program can apply. Experience with systematic reviews, clinical practice guideline development, the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) and/or the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Foundation’s Choosing Wisely campaign is preferred, but not required.
