NASS Member Benefit Update: Your Find a Specialist Listing

All non-In-Training and non-Emeritus members of the North American Spine Society (NASS) have a listing on the NASS Find-a-Specialist directory, an online search engine for the public. This directory is linked to from the popular patient education website,, and allows potential patients to search for NASS members using criteria including U.S. zip code radius, conditions treated, insurances accepted and more!

What Do We Need You To Do? If you are an Active, Affiliate, Associate or International member of NASS, please visit to search for your listing (tip: do this when you're not logged in so that you can see how your profile will appear to the public) and make any necessary updates to your profile.

If your profile needs updates or if information is missing, login to your NASS Communites account (your username is the email address on file with NASS and your password is your NASS ID number unless previously changed in your NASS MyAccount). Then visit your NASS Communities profile and edit your information. To view your privacy settings and change what can be seen by prospective patients (Public), other NASS members (Members Only), or no one (Only Me), click here. On this page, you can also opt out of the Find a Specialist directory by changing the "I would like to be included in the member directory and community rosters:" from Yes to No.
