The third combined NASS Pakistan Combined Hybrid Meeting was held on Saturday, December 5, 2020. This virtual meeting brought together local and international spine specialists from around the globe. A total of 202 participants attended virtually and another 40 participants attended the conference in person in Pakistan. Prominent surgeons from the United States, Canada, South Korea, Indonesia, Palestine, Egypt, Australia, Spain, South Africa, United Kingdom, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Qatar attended the meeting to deliver their talks and provide a truly international experience.
The meeting continues to be impactful as it brings high quality spine education and research to the local spine specialists and trainees who may not otherwise have the opportunity to interact with international and national leaders in the field of spine surgery.
Given the ongoing success of this combined meeting, we hope that its presence and impact will continue to grow in Pakistan and in the neighboring region. I look forward to returning to this meeting in person once the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us.
