NASS 2021 Annual Meeting Covid-19 Policy Update

The NASS Executive Committee continues to monitor the CDC recommendations and requirements for COVID-19 to ensure it is providing guidance for the in-person NASS Annual Meeting in Boston.

As updates come from the CDC, we want to react appropriately to ensure a safe and comfortable meeting environment as well as allow those interested in attending in person to do so.

Therefore, the Executive Committee has amended our COVID-19 policy to enable those who are unable or unwilling to receive a vaccination to attend.

The NASS amended policy requires all annual meeting attendees, exhibitors and vendors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 fourteen days prior to the in-person meeting or have negative COVID-19 lab results within 72 hours of arrival.

So, during the electronic registration process, you must attest that you are fully vaccinated, will be by September 14, 2021, or have negative COVID-19 lab results within 72 hours of meeting arrival.

We want to create a safe, collegial, interactive environment for discussion, networking and conducting business during our in-person meeting in Boston.

Whether you work in a hospital, private practice, academia, or other health care environment, we all are committed to creating a safe environment for our patients and colleagues.
