NASS Members can learn, explore, and connect with colleagues at NASS 2023 this fall in Los Angeles, October 18-21.
NASS received a record-breaking 1,688 abstract submissions from nearly 40 countries. The NASS program committee has selected 369 abstracts to be presented at the meeting, including 227 surgical and 142 medical, providing attendees a broader perspective across all specialties. Sessions will address the latest research, issues and trends in spine through podium presentations, Best Papers and ePosters, including the debut of Rapid Fire ePosters, fast and informative 3-minute non-CME podium presentations in the Technical Exhibition’s Red Theater. New special sessions will feature content designed especially for early career spine professionals as well as Residents and Fellows.
Returning this year, watch leading spine surgeons demonstrate the latest techniques and technology at the popular Surgical Stadium in the exhibit hall, where you can also get hands-on with the latest spine products and innovations from industry at the world’s largest spine exhibition. “Members have asked for more in-person technique instruction which prompted the Surgical Stadium, said NASS President John Finkenberg, MD. “These high-tech surgical demonstrations will benefit both the new and experienced physician. Our Industry partners wants to set the stage for the largest spine educational event of the year.”
A Coding Update course will take place prior to the meeting on Monday and Tuesday, and an Advanced Injections Course covering the latest techniques will be held on Friday.
On Thursday, watch world-renowned performance artist Stephen Fishwick, who will share his inspiring story and incredible captivating and fascinating high-energy live performance painting.
