NASS Committee Update: Patient Education Completes “My Aching Back” Podcasts on Preventing Texting Neck and More


The Patient Education Committee has recently completed several new podcasts under the “My Aching Back” branding, found at anchor.fm/myachingback. Topics include: preventing text neck, developing core strength and managing acute pain. Several other topics continue to be under development.

About the Committee: The Patient Education Committee determines topics that would benefit spine care physicians and their patients by increasing the understanding of spine disorders and conditions and their treatment options and possible risk/side effects. They oversee review processes and provide content on NASS’ patient education website, knowyourback.org. Committee details include:

Eligibility: Open to all members
Estimated Time Requirements: Authoring 2 articles/year; reviewing articles as needed; attendance at committee meeting during NASS Annual Meeting
Current Term Accepting Applications: 2021-2024
