Coding Update 2021: Comprehensive Coding Information in an Interactive Virtual Format

Coding Update 2021 will provide timely and comprehensive coding information including the most recent changes for 2021. Presented as a virtual course with an interactive component, attendees can watch recorded sessions at their leisure in advance of a live Q&A session with expert physician faculty on Saturday, January 23.

This course will teach you the necessary caveats to ensure payment on initial submission, thereby decreasing time spent on appeals and denials. NEW E&M coding and documentation guidelines will be thoroughly reviewed to provide a clear understanding of this new process. Coding Update 2021 will present the latest information on what is happening with health care legislation for pre-authorization, Medicare cuts in 2021, and other news that will affect coding and reimbursement. The course will cover coding for surgical, medical, and radiologic procedures, correct utilization of both 22000 and 63000 codes, operative report coding and documentation, correct use of modifiers, and the ever-important coding for telemedicine, which has become significant in these challenging times of COVID-19.

Participants can watch recorded sessions at their leisure starting on January 13, 2021 prior to the live session on Saturday, January 23 to generate questions and discussion with participating faculty.
