The annual international meeting, Spine Across the Sea, presented by the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR) and the North American Spine Society (NASS), will provide the latest information and concepts in spine care through oral scientific presentations and ePosters as well as symposia.
New for 2021 will be ‘Fireside Chats at the Beach’, featuring evening discussions of specific clinical topics in a relaxed beach setting. The ‘Fireside Chat at the Beach’ on July 5-6 will include a boxed dinner and drinks (beer, wine and soft drinks) for a fee of $75 per session. The topic on Monday, July 5 will be “Osteobiologics: How Do You Choose Biologics in Your Practice and What Works For You?” The Tuesday, July 6 discussion will be “How Do You Evaluate and Adopt Novel Technologies in Spine Surgery to Improve Outcomes and Minimize Complications?”
Spine Across the Sea will also feature symposia that will address Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Deformity, Trauma and Spinal Cord Injury, Novel Technology and Biologics, Cervical Stenosis and Ossification of Posterior Longitudinal Ligament (OPLL) with Myelopathy, and Controversies and Debates in Management of Lumbar A technical exhibition will feature the latest spine products and services.
Attendees can attend the meeting in-person, July 5-8, at the comfortable and relaxed setting of The Fairmont Orchid in the Kohala Coast, Hawaii or attend virtually online from their home or office. Sessions will stream live and will be available to view on-demand after the meeting.
