Volunteer Applications Open for 2026-2029 Appointments

The strength of the North American Spine Society (NASS) lies in its members. Every guideline, educational initiative, advocacy effort, and strategic priority is shaped by individuals who step forward to share their expertise, leadership, and time. Committees bring together members from across disciplines to address complex challenges in spine care and help guide programs that support patients and professionals alike.

Volunteering with NASS is also a meaningful professional opportunity. Committee service allows members to collaborate with respected peers, contribute to work aligned with their interests, and play a direct role in shaping the future of spine care. Volunteers gain valuable leadership experience, expand professional networks, and help influence decisions with lasting impact.

Call to Action: Get Involved in 2026

NASS encourages members to apply for committee and other volunteer roles by March 31, 2026. Volunteer appointments will be made in Summer 2026 for three-year terms beginning at the 2026 NASS Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas (October 14–17, 2026).

Application Process and Eligibility

The online committee application is open year-round. Members interested in volunteering should:
