The North American Spine Society (NASS)'s Early Career Advisory Council has developed several resources for members in-training and early in their careers. One of these programs will debut at the 2024 NASS Annual Meeting in Chicago this September.
The Junior Moderator Program is a pilot initiative designed to foster professional growth and engagement among medical students and junior residents. The following participants have been selected to serve as junior moderators during the meeting's abstract presentation sessions:
- Rohit Bhan, MD, MSc (St. Louis, MO)
- Anisse Chaker, MD (Detroit, MI)
- Katherine Drexelius, MD (Charlotte, NC)
- Bradley Hammoor, MD, MS (Boston, MA)
- Joel Kaye, MD (Cincinnati, OH)
- Abhinav Sharma, MD (Orange, CA)
These junior moderators will collaborate with seasoned professionals, actively engaging with groundbreaking research and contributing to high-level scientific discussions. This role provides an exceptional platform for enhancing their professional skills and expanding their networks within the spine care community.
The Early Career Advisory Council is excited to see the impact our junior moderators will have on the discussions at this year's Annual Meeting. For more information about the Early Career Advisory Council,
