NASS was honored to participate in the 8th Annual Conference of the Saudi Spine Society, held December 6-8, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This prestigious event brought together spine care professionals and thought leaders from around the globe to share the latest advancements in spine care.

NASS contributed to the symposium on “Spine Oncology,” with two insightful presentations. NASS President Scott Kreiner, MD, delivered a lecture on “Radiofrequency Ablation of Vertebral Body Tumors.” John H. Shin, MD, a member of NASS’s Section on Spine Oncology, presented on “Soft Tissue and Bone Reconstruction Techniques After en bloc Resection for Primary Spinal Column Tumors.” The symposium sparked an engaging discussion and a lively Q&A session.

Looking ahead, NASS is excited to build on the success of this conference and further strengthen its partnership with the Saudi Spine Society in 2025. Together, these organizations aim to advance global spine care through education and collaborative efforts that benefit patients worldwide.
