In today’s article, we ask:  What’s one positive change you’d most like to see in spine care over the next 5 years?

Andrew Schoenfeld: Fewer barriers to accessing high-quality spine care and greater integration of care across the different disciplines that treat patients with spinal disorders.

Noam Stadlan: Better and less costly access to care.

Michael Fehlings: Over the next five years I most want to see spine care evolve from variable practice patterns to a truly value-driven, evidence-informed, patient-centered system. And one in which robust multicenter registries, validated biomarkers and advanced imaging inform personalized treatment decisions, minimally invasive and neuroprotective techniques are more widely adopted, and multidisciplinary pathways reduce variability and improve outcomes and equity for all patients.
