Submit Course Proposals for 2026 Educational Programming

The NASS CME Committee has begun the development process and reviewing proposals for the 2026 course schedule this spring and is seeking your input on new ideas, topics, and formats. This planning does not include Annual Meeting programming.

Please share this email with your committees and sections to encourage submitting activity proposals. These do not need to be CME-accredited and can include various formats, such as live didactic lectures (1 to 2 days), cadaver-based hands-on courses, or online videos, courses, and webinars.

NASS courses are highly rated by attendees when they feature cutting-edge topics and key opinion leaders. The most successful programs present diverse, often controversial approaches to spine care, encouraging discussion and multidisciplinary perspectives. Participants attend to reinforce existing knowledge while exploring new concepts and techniques.

All recommendations involving clinical decisions and treatment must be based on evidence that is accepted within the medical profession as adequate justification for their indications and contraindications in patient care. All scientific research referenced, reported, or used to support patient care recommendations must adhere to generally accepted standards for experimental design, data collection, and analysis.
