4 Important Deadlines for Members: March 31, 2025

Monday, March 31, 2025 is the deadline for several important activities with the North American Spine Society (NASS):
  • 2025 Membership Renewal
  • Applications for 2025-2028 Volunteer Appointments
  • 2025 Recognition Award Nominations
  • Annual Disclosure
  • 2025 SpineLine 20 Under 40 Applications

Membership

Members who have not renewed their 2025 membership by April 1 will have their memberships and benefits suspended for non-payment. To check your status for 2025, visit www.spine.org/renew (your username is the email address this Insider newsletter was sent to and your password defaults to your NASS ID number unless previously changed). If you are directed to your NASS MyAccount, your membership is in good standing; if you are directed to your shopping cart, your membership is not renewed.

Volunteering

If you’re interested in applying to volunteer on a NASS committee, section or task force for the 2025-2028 term (appointments to begin at the 2025 NASS Annual Meeting, November 14-16, 2025 in Denver, CO), visit www.spine.org/getinvolved to review which committees are accepting applications and to view details about each group including a list of current members, recent activities, and requirements to apply.

Recognition Awards

2025 is NASS’ 40th Anniversary, and the NASS Governance Committee is seeking nominations for its Annual Recognition Awards during this milestone year. If you know someone who has excelled in spine-related basic science research (Farfan), leadership and/or clinical research in spine care (Wiltse), service to NASS (Selby), federal spine care advocacy efforts (Advocacy), or as an International Member (International, new for 2025), submit their name for consideration at www.spine.org/awards.

Disclosure

Effective in 2024, NASS’ disclosure policy has been modified to require disclosure by April 1 of each year (vs previous requirement to disclose once every 365 days). To update your disclosure based on this new timeline, visit www.spine.org/disclosure.
