NASS grew out of the need for a professional, medical spine society that would include all members of the spine community regardless of specialty. With over 8,000 members in 22 spine-related specialties, NASS utilizes education, research and advocacy to foster the highest quality, ethical value-based and evidence-based spine care for patients. NASS provides spine specialists with ACCME-accredited continuing education programs and research opportunities as well as influencing practice policies and advocacy initiatives.
