General Registration Information

Your registration fee grants you access to the full virtual experience Live Schedule October 6–9, 2020. After the Live Schedule concludes, you will continue to have OnDemand access to all the meeting content indefinitely via your Video Library.

You must purchase the meeting in full. Single sessions and one-day options are not available.

Registration will remain open throughout the meeting.

Refunds allowed (less a $50 administrative fee), if cancellation is made in writing by September 23, 2020. No refunds will be made after that date, regardless of cause. Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions.

NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or reformat the virtual meeting due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. Written, verbal, or fax notice of cancellation will be given within five (5) working days of the actual date of the program whenever possible. NASS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.

CME/CE Credit Hour Information

The North American Spine Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

51.25 total CME Credits are available. For the Live Schedule only, the North American Spine Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. For the Session Library Recorded Content, the North American Spine Society designates this enduring material for a maximum of 51.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (This includes the Live Schedule content.) The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in these CME activities are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™. The following indicates the status of CE unit accreditation for nonphysician attendees. Physician Assistants: The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts Category 1 credit from AOACCME, prescribed credit from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Physician’s Recognition Award from organizations, such as NASS, accredited by the ACCME. Nurse Practitioners: The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Sessions and Content Information

The meeting features both Live Schedule and Session Library pre-recorded content that registered attendees can view beginning October 6, 2020. All this content will be accessible on the Annual Meeting website through March 2021 and in your Video Library indefinitely.

Registered attendees will receive a link via email before the first Live Schedule session begins on October 6, 2020. A link will be sent to the email address you used to register. This is how you will access all of the conference content. You will use the same link each day to access the platform for the Live Schedule and the Session Library content.

Your registration link is a single secure sign-on and cannot be shared.

The schedule with live and pre-recorded content is available at www.spine.org.

You are able to ask questions by participating in the live sessions via the chat window, allowing for dynamic, simultaneous communication. There also will be discussion boards focused on specific topics of interest available throughout the meeting, including the ability to ask questions to faculty by sending a question to a designated email.

You will be available to view both Live Schedule and Session Library session content, participate in discussion boards, and view the product gallery through March 2021. Thereafter, all meeting contant will be accessible indefinitely via your Video Library.

All sessions/presentations will be in English.

Yes, once the Live Schedule sessions conclude on October 9, 2020, the content will be added to the Session Library content for viewing indefinitely.

Abstract Presenters

All Podium, ePoster, Research Grant Awards, and Innovative Technology abstract presenters must upload their PowerPoint presentations into their interactive Learning Toolbox stacks. Podiums, Research Grant Awards, and Innovative Technology abstracts also must record their PowerPoint presentations and upload those into their stacks. ePosters are not required to record, but may definitely do so. All Learning Toolbox stacks must be finalized by August 26. Changes to all abstract presentations is NOT permitted after August 26, unless required by the content review process.

All abstracts (Podiums, ePosters, Poster Grand Rounds, and Research Grant Award Winners) accepted to the 2020 Annual Meeting will now be presented virtually as ePosters. The only exception is abstracts selected as Best Papers, which will be presented as part of the scientific program. All abstracts, including Best Papers, will be accessible through Kubify, where attendees will be able to interact directly with authors.

Abstract acceptances for the 2020 Annual Meeting cannot be forwarded to the 2021 Annual Meeting. We hope that you will submit an abstract next year. The 2021 Annual Meeting abstract submission process will proceed as scheduled, with the submission period opening in October 2020.

The committee has already selected the abstracts and session proposals. You may submit your abstract or symposium for the 2021 Annual Meeting between October 1, 2020 and February 4, 2021.
