Hear and debate the evidence, evaluate current innovations and collaborate to improve patient outcomes in a casual setting.

There will be surgical, medical and joint sessions beginning on Wednesday evening through Saturday morning.

Sessions will address adult spinal deformity surgery, hip/SI-joint pain syndrome and treatment options, artificial intelligence and the future of spine outcome measures as well as augmented reality, axial low back pain, and cervical spine injuries in athletes and return to play.

Mid-day breaks enable participants to take advantage of the resort activities.

General Registration: In-person attendance for all education sessions, breakfasts and refreshments (Wednesday evening, February 9 through Saturday, February 12), Welcome Reception (Thursday, February 10) and OnDemand recordings.

OnDemand Recordings: Can't make it in person? Access the recordings of all educational sessions. This includes symposia and discussions/debates. Note: Recordings will be available 5-10 business days from the conclusion of the meeting. The OnDemand option does not allow access to the discounted NASS hotel rate, only attendance at the physical meeting.

Health Guidelines

NASS requests that all annual meeting attendees, exhibitors and vendors to attest that they will be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 fourteen days prior to the in-person meeting or have negative COVID-19 lab results within 72 hours of arrival.

Why is NASS asking for attestation?
NASS is asking our attendees, exhibitors and vendors to make this confirmation or promise during the registration process in order to provide an additional layer of safety for those travel to ETSS 2022 in Park City. This is in addition to the other safety measures in place by NASS and the Canyons Village at Park City.

Is NASS collecting proof of vaccine or proof of negative COVID test?
No. NASS will not collect or require our attendees, exhibitors or vendors to submit, upload or present proof of vaccination or negative COVID test results.

What vaccines are accepted?
All COVID vaccines that are administered domestically and internationally.

What types of COVID tests are accepted?
Viral: nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) and antigen tests.
Antibody: Antibody or serology tests.

What if I already had COVID?
Please obtain a negative COVID test, antibody or serology test 72 hours prior to arrival.

What if I am unable to be vaccinated?
Please obtain a negative COVID test, antibody or serology test 72 hours prior to arrival.

General Session seating will be spaced with social distancing. Technical Exhibition booths will be spaced with social distancing. Masks are required in all indoor spaces at the hotel, including meeting rooms and public spaces. NASS will continue to monitor the health and safety requirements; should these requirements modify before the event, attendees will be notified and expected to adhere to the requirements in place at the time of the event.

The welcome reception will take place on Thursday, February 10th at the Grand Summit Building (meeting location) from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. Drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and it’s a great opportunity to network with faculty and colleagues.

The North American Spine Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

If you cannot attend the in-person, the OnDemand recordings are available for $750. The recordings provide access to all educational sessions, including symposia and discussions/debates. Recordings will be available 5-10 business days after the conclusion of the meeting.

The North American Spine Society designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 23.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The fee for the Biologic Interventions for Spinal Pathologies: Stem Cells, Growth Factors, and Novel Therapeutics is $250. This is a non-CME event.

All attendees are required to pick up their badges on-site with photo identification. You will receive a confirmation email containing a barcode after you register for the meeting. If registering as a student or resident in training, identification also is required to pick up your badge.


Housing

Meeting registration MUST be completed and processed within two weeks of reserving your hotel room. If not, your hotel room will be cancelled without notice. NASS will continuously check the housing list to ensure that those with reservations also are officially registered. NASS reserves the right to cancel housing reservations that do not meet these criteria.

Grand Summit Lodge room rate is $320/night +$30/night resort fee.

You are strongly encouraged to reserve your hotel room early, as the hotel may sell out prior to cutoff date of January 6, 2022. After that date, the discounted rate may not be available.


Cancellation/COVID-19 Policies

Attendees must submit cancellation in writing via mail or email and postmarked on or before January 19, 2022, to receive a refund less cancellation processing fees of $125 for attendees and $20 for guest welcome reception. Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions.

If you need to cancel due to travel ban from your institution, a letter from your institution listing such ban must be supplied to process your request. If you need to cancel due to a travel ban instituted by your local, state, federal or country government, a letter stating such ban must be supplied to process your request. Registration fee can be refunded or transferred to a future NASS course or meeting. Fee must be used by December 31, 2022.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the North American Spine Society, any of its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in at the NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures www.spine.org/ETSS that may be implemented related to NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit, including but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all NASS 2022 Evidence & Technology Spine Summit attendees.

Trained staff will be available to assist with any audiovisual needs. Evidence & Technology and Biologics speakers may upload presentations at the Speaker Information Center (SIC) located in the Kokopelli Lobby of the Grand Summit.
