On behalf of the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR), we invite you to attend Spine Across the Sea, July 29-August 2, 2018, on the beautiful island of Kauai.

This meeting will provide spine care professionals an opportunity to share current information and concepts relating to spinal problems. While most attendees will come from the United States and Japan, participants from Asia, the Americas and Europe are expected to attend. Spine Across the Sea will be held at one of the main island’s premier resort hotels, the Kauai Marriott Resort.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The North American Spine Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity. Virtual registration: For Health Care Providers and interested parties who cannot attend the physical meeting. The Virtual option does not allow access to the discounted NASS hotel rate, attendance at the physical meeting.

Virtual Sessions: The session recordings are provided at no charge to NASS members who attend the Spine Across the Sea. To qualify for free Spine Across the Sea Session Virtual, an attendee must be a member in good-standing prior to the beginning of the Spine Across the Sea Meeting (July 29, 2018). Individuals who register for the meeting as a non-member and apply for membership following registration must have their application completed (application and CV received) by July 28, 2018 in order to qualify for the free Meeting Sessions Virtual.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be submitted via email to registration@spine.org on or before June 27, to receive a refund less cancellation processing fee(s). Cancellation processing fees: conference registration $125, guests $25 and preconference $25. There will be no refunds after June 27 regardless of cause. Note: Registrations are not transferable and there are no substitutions. NASS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule programs or change course locations due to circumstances beyond its control or close registration when programs are oversubscribed. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing nonrefundable airline tickets. NASS is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation fares. Written, verbal or fax notice of cancellation will be given within five (5) working days of the actual date of the program whenever possible.

Cost: $500 per individual. Fee includes golf cart, golf club and shoe rentals, sleeve of balls, and lunch. All donations for this event will benefit NASS’ political action committee, SpinePAC. Only U.S. NASS members may donate to SpinePAC.
